Is National Living Wage age restriction unfair?

The new mandatory National Living Wage (NLW) has come into force, requiring employers to pay workers aged 25 and over at least £7.20 an hour.

It is good news for some but younger workers may feel hard done by.

Adam Sowter is over 25 and will benefit, but his colleague Clare Vernon will not.
