Police 'unequivocally accept' Hillsborough findings

Ninety-six football fans who died as a result of a crush in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster were unlawfully killed, the jury at the inquests into their deaths has concluded.

Chief Constable David Crompton, of South Yorkshire Police, said that police unequivocally accepted the findings and that that the force had "failed the victims and failed their families".
