Birmingham pub bombings: Victim’s sister confronts ex-IRA boss

Julie Hambleton, whose sister Maxine Hambleton died in the Birmingham pub bombings, has confronted a former head of IRA intelligence, after he said that those who planted the bombs were not "murderers".

"I view them as people who participated in a just war," Kieran Conway told the Today programme.

"I think the man's delusional," responded Ms Hambleton. “How dare he make such horrendous statements.”
