Jo Cox MP: Memorial held in Birstall for 'Yorkshire rose'

People have been laying flowers all day and a vigil has been held in Birstall for the Labour MP Jo Cox who died after being shot and stabbed in an attack in her constituency.

Prime Minister David Cameron described the killing as tragic.

Fiona Trott reports from Birstall, where floral tributes have been laid to remember the woman described by one mourner as a "Yorkshire rose".
