Former Labour leader Kinnock urges Corbyn to resign

Lord Kinnock told 5 live Breakfast that Jeremy Corbyn should "do his duty" and resign as leader of the Labour party.

Corbyn has not stepped down despite losing a no-confidence vote of MPs.

The former Labour leader said MPs were "doing the clear and honest thing when they are so fundamentally alarmed by the prospects of the party."

Kinnock said "If he has any sense of political team spirit, he should do his duty and resign."
