Mother says British man held at Trump rally 'vulnerable'

The mother of a British man detained in the US after he allegedly snatched a police officer's gun at a rally for Donald Trump has said he is "extremely vulnerable".

Michael Sandford has been charged with disrupting an official function and illegal firearm possession in the US.

Lynne Sandford told the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme that Mr Sandford had experienced mental health difficulties from a young age.
