Two men jailed for smuggling Albanians into the UK

Two men, one of them a former British judo champion, have been jailed for trying to smuggle 18 Albanian migrants into the country.

The group, which included two children, was rescued from their inflatable boat as it was sinking off the coast of Kent.

None of the migrants had been given a life jacket and immigration officials said they could have died.

Duncan Kennedy reports.
