Iraq War allegation 'put me through hell'
Three former heads of the British Army have criticised an organisation investigating allegations of misconduct by UK troops in the Iraq War.
Lord Dannatt, Gen Sir Mike Jackson and Gen Sir David Richards say the Iraq Historic Allegations Team (IHAT) is stopping the military from working effectively.
One soldier, "John", whose name has been changed and voice disguised, says his life was made "hell" when he was investigated for an allegation he had previously been cleared of by court martial.
The Victoria Derbyshire programme is broadcast on weekdays between 09:00 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News channel.
