Mark Carney warns of rise in inflation

The Governor of the Bank of England has said the price of every day goods will go up.

He blamed the fall in the value of the pound caused by uncertainty over Britain's decision to leave the European Union.

Mark Carney said life would get difficult for those on lowest incomes as we move from no inflation to some inflation.

Food is likely to be the first to experience price rises as we currently import over half of what we consume.
