Zoo keeper told escaped gorilla Kumbuka to 'calm down'

A zoo keeper confronted with a 29st escaped gorilla told the animal to "calm down", says director of zoology.

Kumbuka, a western lowland silverback, escaped from his enclosure at London Zoo and drank five litres of undiluted blackcurrant squash before being returned to his den.
