Why Wonder Woman is still relevant

Wonder Woman is never going to “fade away”, the president of DC Entertainment Diane Nelson has said.

The United Nations has appointed the comic book character as an Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls at a ceremony in New York.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Ms Nelson said Wonder Woman would always remain as relevant as Batman and Superman because she "stands for things people still care about".
