Tesco Bank boss says money taken from 20,000 customers

The chief executive of Tesco Bank, Benny Higgins, has said that around 40,000 current accounts experienced suspicious transactions over the weekend.

Mr Higgins told the Today programme that about 20,000 customers had money taken from their accounts, but "customers are not at financial risk" as the bank will cover any losses.
