Crewe Alexandra chairman 'distressed by abuse claims'

Crewe Alexandra's chairman John Bowler has spoken to the BBC's sport editor Dan Roan, after a second former footballer spoke about being sexually abused by Barry Bennell while at the club.

Bennell, a coach at the club, was sentenced to nine years in prison in 1998 after admitting sexual offences against six boys.

Mr Bowler said that the club was "understandably distressed" by the accusations and would be speaking further when it had more to say.
