Cricketer Rachael Heyhoe Flint was a 'pioneer'
The former England women's cricket captain, Rachael Heyhoe Flint, dubbed a "pioneer" and a "ground breaker" by many, has died at the age of 77. She was one of the MCC's first women members and the first elected to the full committee at Lord's.
Clare Connor, the England and Wales Cricket Board's director of women's cricket and also a former national captain, explains to the Today programme how Flint established the first World Cup for women which lead to a World Cup for the men's teams.
