Ex-MP says George Osborne editing newspaper 'sounds like fake news'

Former Tatton MP Martin Bell reacted live on BBC 5 live to George Osborne becoming editor of the Evening Standard by telling presenter Emma Barnett: "It sounds like fake news.”

Mr Bell was MP for Tatton until 2001, when Mr Osborne was elected to the constituency.
