London attack: Police raid Birmingham flat

Armed police have raided a Birmingham flat in an operation linked to Wednesday's terror attack in Westminster.

Officers stormed a second-floor flat above a row of shops on Hagley Road in Ladywood at about 23:00 GMT on Wednesday.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed officers have made seven arrests and raided five addresses in London as well as the one in Birmingham.
