Sadiq Khan: Autumn launch for car emissions checker

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, says the world's first independent verification of vehicle emissions will be launched in October this year, to make up for the lack of confidence in car manufacturers.

Mr Khan told the Today programme move is among a series of measures to tackle pollution which the mayor says is making the air in London lethal.
