Finsbury Park Imam 'stopped crowd hitting suspect attacker'

Finsbury Park Imam Mohammed Mahmoud prevented onlookers from hitting the man thought to be the van driver following attack, he said.

"We will do our utmost to calm tensions," he told reporters. "This community in Finsbury Park is mild-mannered, calm. Our mosques are incredibly peaceful."
