MP dress code relaxed: Does anyone need to wear a tie?

Male MPs do not need to wear ties in the House of Commons chamber, Speaker John Bercow has said, as long as they are in "businesslike attire".

So if MPs no longer have to wear ties, are they really necessary in other offices and jobs?
