Nurse tells how surgeon put his hands up their skirts

A woman who started her nursing career in 1980 says nurses were repeatedly sexually harassed by one surgeon.

Sandy, who did not want to give her surname, said he would wait until the nurses had scrubbed up for theatre before putting his hands under their skirts so they couldn't push him away.

She said that until this month, she had never told anyone what went on for fear of it ending her career.
