Covid: England lockdown is 'inevitable'

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is preparing to hold a news conference as the government considers a new month-long lockdown across England.

The hope is that stricter measures could then be eased by Christmas.

Plymouth, like other cities in the south west, has a far lower R rate than the rest England, yet its residents are likely to be included in the measures to slow the spread of the disease.
