Covid-19: Boris Johnson warns about Christmas celebrations

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has urged people to be "jolly careful" during the festive season and remain "prudent" into the new year.

"We hope to let people see a bit more of their family over Christmas," he said.

But Mr Johnson warned: "This is not the moment to let the virus rip".
