Boris Johnson: Covid-19 vaccine 'will gradually make huge difference'

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reacted to the release of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine across the UK.

"It will gradually make a huge, huge difference," Mr Johnson said. But he warned: "We haven't defeated this virus yet".

He spoke from Guy's and St Thomas' hospital in London, where he met one of the first Pfizer coronavirus vaccine recipients in the capital.
