Covid-19: 'The next few weeks are going to be the worst'

Government chief medical officer for England, Professor Chris Whitty has advised people to minimise all unnecessary contact as the number of Covid-19 infections rise across the country.

Answering questions from the public on the BBC, Professor Whitty warned the next few weeks will be "the worst in terms of numbers into the NHS".
