Covid-19: 'Police need to be firm to save lives'

Police in Devon and Cornwall are stopping people and asking where they have travelled from, Deputy Chief Constable Paul Netherton says.

He told BBC Breakfast that police did not want to seem draconian but they needed to enforce rules to make sure Covid-19 numbers went down.

He said people did seem to be "getting fed up" with restrictions but officers had to be firm in order to save lives.
