Brexit: Gove says Northern Ireland Protocol needs refining

Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove says there needs to be a number of "refinements" in the way the Northern Ireland Protocol operates.

"There are a number of areas in the Northern Ireland Protocol where recent events have shown that we do need to look at its application on the ground," he told MPs on the European Scrutiny Committee.

He said there were concerns across communities in Northern Ireland about the impact of the Protocol.
