‘Red list’ quarantine hotel stay to cost £1,750

A new system of hotel quarantine is to be introduced from Thursday for British and Irish residents coming to the UK from ‘red list’ countries.

Heath Secretary Matt Hancock announced the plans as he addressed MPs in the House of Commons.
