UK coronavirus: PM on vaccine rollout

The NHS in England is now offering coronavirus vaccinations to anyone aged 45 and above, after ministers announced that initial jab targets had been reached quicker than expected.

All adults in the UK's main priority groups have now been offered an injection, and lockdown restrictions have been eased.

However, the Prime minister Boris Johnson stressed that the reduction in infections, hospitalisations and death had not been achieved by the vaccine.
