BBC chairman: 'We will find out why Bashir was re-hired'

The BBC's chairman has said he "takes comfort" from the fact that Martin Bashir is no longer in the organisation, but does not understand why he was re-hired.

"We will find that out," Richard Sharp told BBC Radio 4's World at One.
