Boris Johnson: 'I don't believe the Afghan war was in vain'
Boris Johnson has said he "shares the sorrow" of the families of the 457 British serving personnel killed in Afghanistan as he defended the UK's role in the country.
The Taliban continues to advance after the UK joined other foreign forces in withdrawing.
But, pointing to what's happened over the past 20 years, the prime minister says Britain's involvement in Afghanistan was "right, it was worth it".
