Boris Johnson party row: What has the PM said before?

A new photo has emerged showing Boris Johnson drinking and giving a speech at a party in Downing Street held on 13 November 2020 with at least eight colleagues present.

He had previously insisted "the rules were followed at all times" when asked about that event in parliament last December.

The Metropolitan Police concluded its own investigation into rule-breaking, after issuing 126 fines - including one for the prime minister for attending a birthday party in June 2020.

But this is not the only Downing Street party allegation he has faced.
