Boris Johnson apologises after lockdown fine, but will 'deliver mandate'

Boris Johnson has apologised after being fined for breaking Covid lockdown rules, saying he accepted "in full sincerity that people had the right to expect better".

When asked if he would resign, the prime minister said he would "go on and deliver" his mandate.
