Asake gig: Crush builds at Brixton Academy entrance

Several people have been injured in a crush at a gig at the Brixton O2 Academy in south London.

Police were called on Thursday night to the show by Afro-pop singer Asake. Four people were described by the Met as having been critically injured, and the event was abandoned part-way through.

Footage from social media shows people trying to get into the front door of the venue, with police telling them to get back.
