Grand National: Blaming protesters for horse death 'an absolute joke'

Trainer of Hill Sixteen, Sandy Thomson, has blamed protesters for the horse's death at the Grand National.

On the Nicky Campbell 5 Live phone-in a caller, Simon, said the accusation was "an absolute joke".

He was joined by Ben Newman of the Animal Rising protest group, who said: "I don't think many viewers will believe Animal Rising caused those accidents."
