Reward offered over 'murdered' ex-marine Carl Davies

The parents of a former Royal Marine believed to have been murdered on an island in the Indian Ocean have offered a £10,000 reward to catch his killer.

Carl Davies, 33, a former teacher from Kent, was discovered at the bottom of a ravine in Reunion Island on 9 November.

His parents, Andrew and Maria, were initially told by the authorities on the island that he had died from an accident.

A week later they were informed a murder investigation had been launched and he may have been beaten to death.
