Plans for new technical colleges to boost skills in east

Plans for new university technical colleges (UTCs) in Harlow, Cambridge and Norwich have been unveiled.

The colleges will be run in partnership with local businesses.

It will mean six UTCs in the region. Two in Northamptonshire are due to open next year and one in Bedfordshire will open in the summer.
