Sussex company's aircraft device 'to secure jobs'

A Sussex-based technology company has invented a touch screen system for aeroplane cockpits - which could help to secure the future of thousands of jobs.

Thales, which has a large factory in Crawley, said the equipment would be used in the new Airbus A350. The aircraft has been on display at the Farnborough Air Show trade exhibition.
