Rain causes 'unprecedented' landslips in south-west England

Heavy rain has caused an unprecedented number of landslips across Devon and Cornwall, according to the South West Coast Path Association.

At Whitsand Bay, in south-east Cornwall, a section of coastal path has been closed for six months because of a landslip.

Footpaths across the South West have been closed or diverted because of the slips.
