Yorkshire Ambulance Service has urged people to take extra care over the festive period after seeing a rise in the number of emergency calls.

Managers said the service had been dealing with about 170 extra calls a day during December.

BBC Look North's health correspondent Jamie Coulson spent an evening out with paramedics and spoke to associate medical director Dr Dave Macklin.
