Renishaw man first in UK to donate liver to a stranger
A 21-year-old man has donated part of his liver to help save the life of a four-year-old boy he does not know.
Daniel Broadhead, from Renishaw, in Derbyshire, is the first person in the UK to donate part of their liver for altruistic reasons.
He said he could not see why someone in his position would choose not to help save another person's life.
