Brackmills improvement scheme 'boosts estate business'

A Northampton industrial estate is claiming its business has been given a boost since it became part of a Business Improvement District (BID) four years ago.

Brackmills said the BID, where companies pay into a fund to improve their area, has led to improved business relationships and a large reduction in crime on the estate.

BBC Look East reporter Waseem Mirza spoke to estate manager Chris Barker, Andy Leeds from Blue Sky Printing Solutions and Sara Homer, acting chairman of the Brackmills BID, about what improvements have been made.
