Birmingham cancer patient's breath-holding hope

Fiona Cole is being trained to hold her breath for three minutes in a trial at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.

The 41-year-old, from Quinton, was diagnosed with breast cancer in August.

Doctors hope that if a patient's chest is still during radiotherapy, the radiation dose can be targeted more precisely.

Dr Michael Parkes and Dr Andrea Stephens are looking for more people to take part in the study.
