Badger population boom in urban Gosport

Gosport is better known for its naval history than its natural history, so it is surprising to discover the town is being labelled the badger capital of southern England".

There are 100 known badger setts in Gosport; some close to housing estates and industrial areas.

The badgers were attracted to the town's Ministry of Defence bases where they bred unhindered for many years.

Presenter Jon Cuthill visits a housing estate in Gosport where badgers are nightly visitors.
