Greater Anglia: E-cigarettes banned by rail operator

Passengers have been banned from using electronic cigarettes on trains and stations run by rail operator Greater Anglia.

A spokesperson said the ban was "in common with other train operators" and the decision haf been taken "in line with the British Medical Association's recommendation that e-cigarettes should be included in the ban on smoking in public places."

The use of e-cigarettes has also been banned by eastern region rail operators C2C and First Capital Connect.

BBC Look East's Richard Daniel reports.
