Easter tourism boost for the East of England

Tourist attractions across the East of England more than doubled their year-on-year visitor numbers over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

The group which runs Banham Zoo and the Dinosaur Adventure Park, in Norfolk, and Africa Alive, in Suffolk, said visitor numbers topped more than 20,000.

Managers at Audley End House, in Essex, said they had been "fantastically busy", with more than 7,000 tourists to the house and gardens.

BBC Look East's Kim Riley reports.
