Camp Bastion: Yorkshire soldiers begin 'draw-down'
Within the next few weeks Camp Bastion, the British-run base in southern Afghanistan, is to close signalling the end of British and Yorkshire involvement in the country.
BBC Look North has been given exclusive access to Camp Bastion to witness what is said to be one of the most complicated withdrawals from a war zone in history.
Harry Gration met Yorkshire soldiers who are playing a key role in the "draw-down".
The camp is the size of a large town and home to 30,000 people. When fully operational it had its own water bottling plant, hospital and police force.
