Decline in Thames Valley special constable numbers

More volunteer workers known as special constables are leaving Thames Valley Police, new figures suggest.

Critics claim it is because of a lack of support and job satisfaction.

The force says some chose to leave after a restructure last year and it is trying to recruit more.
