Changing face of the Women's Institute at 100

On the 100th anniversary of the Women's Institute, BBC Inside Out takes a look at how this great British institution is reinventing itself.

Today there are more than 6,500 Women's Institute branches across Britain with around 212,000 members.

The organisation is going from strength to strength with new branches opening every month, attracting young women and the recently retired.

Reporter Natalie Graham visited Rough Common Women's Institute in Kent which has opened a new branch to revitalise its village community.

She also met the Pink Ladies group in Canterbury which has a high proportion of young working mothers who enjoy the opportunity to get together and share common interests.
