Are we building enough affordable homes in England?

Figures released on Thursday show that the number of new homes started in the last quarter of 2014 was down by 9%, despite the government's pledge to 'get Britain building again'.

Critics say successive governments have failed to get to grips with the housing crisis and that the rate of building still lags significantly behind what is needed.
