Jeremy Hunt promises action on GP shortage

BBC Inside Out's Chris Jackson asked Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt about what action is being taken to tackle the problem of a GP shortage in the UK.

Mr Hunt promised a "transformation of GP services" with a five year plan designed to encourage doctors back into general practice.

He also stressed the importance of making a career as a GP more attractive to newly-qualified doctors and medical students,
